The inspiration for this came from my friend “Shenanigans” who sent me a photo of a vintage cover from some 70s Tiger Beat issue.

I never read Tiger Beat as a kid but I used to look at the covers when I was standing in line with my mom at the grocery store. There was a seemingly inexhaustible supply of articles about Leif Garrett, Kristy McNichol, Andy Gibb, Scott Baio, Shaun and David Cassidy, and all of the other hot hunks and bitchin’ babes of the era. What’s their favorite food? Are they going steady? Who was their first kiss? Inquiring minds HAD to know!
